The council has the responsibility of maintaining the borough's public parks. For example, we cut the grass, trim hedges, plant shrubs and flowers, clean and inspect them regularly to make sure they are in a good, safe condition for everyone to enjoy. We manage 20 parks in the borough, covering 493 acres of land.
