Missed bin collection
What is this for?
To report that your bin, box or bags have not been collected on your scheduled collection day.
Unfortunately it is not possible to report missed Commercial Waste (businesses and educational establishments) collections via the website at this time. Please telephone Customer Services on 01302 736000.

What we need from you
All missed collections must be reported to us within 48 hours of the scheduled collection day. Please do not report a missed collection if:
- you did not put your bin, box or bags out for collection before 7:00am on your scheduled collection day
- your bin, box or bags contained incorrect materials or was too heavy
- your bin or box has been issued with a contamination notice (tag), please remove the items left before your next scheduled collection
- access to the communal container was not possible.
Should any of the above issues be identified by the collection operatives at the time of collection you will be unable to request a return visit.
When you report your missed collection you will be asked to give your name, address, telephone number, type of bin/container (wheeled bin, box, bags), and any additional information.

What you should expect from us
When you submit the missed collection form the collection contractor will be informed. If the missed collection is successfully reported on any working day (Tuesday - Friday) before 12:00 (midday) a return visit should be made by 7:00pm the same working day.
All missed collections successfully reported after 12:00 (midday) and within 48Hrs (exceptions apply) of your scheduled collection day should be collected on the following working day. Collections maybe undertaken over the weekend.
Please ensure your bin, box or bag is presented/accessible for collection.
Once you submit your request, you will be sent an email with a reference number for your case. Using this reference number, you will be able to track the progress of your request, including when it should be completed by.
