Changes to Recycling and Refuse Collections during Bank Holidays.

Recycling of Christmas waste

Christmas trees and wrapping paper will not be collected in the recycling. Wrapping paper should be put in your black bin, while Christmas trees should either be cut up and put in your black bin or taken to a Household Waste Recycling Centre

You can recycle Christmas cards, just make sure they are plain card and don't contain things like bows, large amounts of glitter or other non-card/paper decorations.

New Year Bank Holiday 2017/2018

There will be no collections on Monday 1 January meaning that for the week commencing 1 January your should put your bins and boxes out one day later than your usual collection day.

Please remember your first collection of the New Year will be for your black bin.

Green bin collections re-commence Monday 5 March 2018.

In all cases:

Please ensure that your bin, box and sacks are put out for collection before 7:30am on the correct day and taken in when emptied.

Should your bin not be emptied by 5pm on the collection day, please report it to Customer Services within two working days by completing the following e-form.
