There are plenty of opportunities for you to get involved in making the best of our countryside and rights of way.
If you are interested in any of the following or require further information, please contact the Public Rights of Way team.
Local Access Forum
The Doncaster Local Access Forum was created in September 2003. Its purpose is to provide advice to Doncaster Council and Natural England on improving access to land in the borough for recreation and enjoyment.
The forum represents the interests of everyone who lives, works, or just enjoys the countryside. It is made up of volunteer members representing a broad range of interests relating to countryside access, including users of the public rights of way network and other forms of access, landowners/occupiers, business, heritage and nature conservation. We are currently looking to recruit new members, please contact the public rights of way team for more details.
Public Rights of Way Forum
This forum sees users, landowners, tenants, the council and other interested parties working together to promote the use of rights of way. It is an opportunity for dialogue and exchange of information between land occupiers, users and the council. The date of the next meeting is 10:30 am on Thursday 11 April at the Civic Office, Waterdale, DN1 3BU
It also allows us to share the initiatives and progress made in matters relating to rights of way.
