For positions where you will be working with vulnerable groups, you will be asked to provide information which is required to safeguard the children and/or vulnerable adults you will have contact with.
- applications must be fully completed - we are unable to accept CVs for positions where you will be working with vulnerable groups (with the exception of some senior officer posts where it will be specified within the advert that application is by CV)
- you will be required to provide information about gaps in your employment history
- you should discuss any past disciplinary action taken against you; this information will be verified with referees
- if you are offered a position we will require you to provide a photograph approximately 6cm x 4cm for identification purposes
Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks will be carried out for relevant posts.
If you are not currently working with children, but have done so in the past, it is important that a reference is obtained from the employer you were most recently employed working with children. Please provide contact details. Employment references will not be accepted from relatives or people writing solely in the capacity of friends.
