  Jackie is a Digital Friend at Woodlands Community Library and Hub. Digital Friends provide you with one-to-one support and assistance getting online. She explains why she enjoys introducing people to the internet and the difference it makes to their lives.

  59 year old Keith McMillan from Carcroft had had no reason to use a computer. That was until he was encouraged by the Job Centre to learn some computer skills to help him find a job after being unemployed for a number of years due to ill health.

  Margaret Groome is evidence that age is no barrier when it comes to learning new skills. Although in her 70s, the retired teacher from Doncaster is embracing the digital age. By pursuing her hobby and researching her family history online, Margaret has learnt skills that mean she is now a regular user of the internet.
