Alternative Dispute Resolution application form
What is this for?
To apply for the Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR). A quicker and cheaper alternative to court, where consumers and businesses can resolve their disputes.
What is it going to cost?
There is no cost for consumers to use the ADR scheme.
What we need from you
Your details and contact information, the other party’s details and a brief description of your complaint.
Consumers must get the agreement of the business to participate in the scheme before you apply. If the business does not agree, you cannot continue with the scheme.
A business cannot initiate ADR. However, if they have exhausted their business's complaints procedure without resolving a complaint, they can invite a consumer to consider ADR.
What you should expect from us
This application form is just to get your contact details and some basic information to start the process.
After we receive this form from you we will send out an ADR pack which includes a full application form and more information about the process. This will be sent by post or email depending on your preferred method of communication.
