Dead animals

What is this for?

To report a dead rat, cat, dog or badger on a public highway or pavement. We are unable to remove dead animals from private residences, including domestic animals.

What we need from you

We need to know the location of the number, type and location of the dead animal(s).

What you should expect from us

We aim to respond to your report within one working day. Any unexpected death of a hooved animal - horses, cattle , sheep, deer and so on - is required to be investigated by the Animal Health team in the first instance.
