Dogs - found

What is this for?

To report that you have found a dog and have contained it in your home and garden. If you have seen a stray, roaming dog, please use the Stray Dog form.

What is it going to cost?

Free.

What we need from you

You will need to tell us about yourself as well as the dog you have found.

What you should expect from us

We will give you the following options:

• To continue to contain the dog in your home or garden
• To have the Dog Warden collect the dog
• To take the dog to kennels yourself
• To keep the dog yourself

If you choose to keep the dog, you will need to ring the contact Centre to re-log , but just to be aware before you do, you will need to agree that if the owner comes forward, your contact details will be given out  , and you will need to keep the dog for minimum 28 Days.
