What is this for?
To apply for Doncaster Council’s Local Assistance Scheme. Help for the most vulnerable residents in meeting an immediate short-term need or maintaining their independence in the community.
You must meet the qualifying conditions outlined on the Local Assistance Scheme page.

The Local Assistance Scheme is intended to provide support following an emergency or crisis, or help with basic items where someone is being supported to resettle in the community after a period of living in unsettled or temporary accommodation.

What we need from you
We will ask you to tell us details about your household, income and capital.
What you should expect from us
Once submitted, we will decide if you are eligible for Local Assistance. We aim to make a decision on your application within 2 working days. This will be sent to the email address provided on your application. The email will be encrypted and you will be required to set a password to open it.
