Apprenticeship Strategy

The Workforce Development Team has been granted money from the Better Care Fund to promote and support the utilisation of apprenticeships as a means of recruiting, retaining and upskilling staff in Doncaster's adult health and social care sector. The funds have been used to employ an apprenticeship lead within the team for a two year tenure, alongside a package of support for providers wishing to give apprenticeships a try.
