Civil naming ceremonies
Naming ceremonies allow parents or guardians to make a formal commitment to their child.
Although usually used to mark the arrival of a child, children of any age can have a naming ceremony. The occasion gives you the opportunity to make promises as to how your child will be brought up, and have this witnessed by family and friends. The service doesn't have religious content and has no legal status.
A civil naming ceremony can be held at Priory Place:
- Thurs and Friday: 9.30, 10.30, 11.30am, 2.30 and 3.30pm
- Saturday: 9.30, 10.30 and 11.30am
Costs are:
Thursday | £190 - either room |
Friday and Saturday morning Saturday afternoon | £315 - either room £340 - either room |
