Prosecutions - Breach of an abatement notice or similar, in relation to noise nuisance
Statutory Nuisance is dealt with under the provisions of the Environmental Protection Act 1990. Other legislation, such as the Anti-Social Behaviour Crime and Policing Act 2014 can also be utilised to tackle excessive noise. We have successfully prosecuted the following people for noise nuisance:
