History of Campsall Country Park

Campsall Hall was the home of the Frank family for several generations. The hall and grounds were extensively enlarged during the time of Richard Frank (1698-1762), who introduced many of the plants still seen today, including London plane, Wellingtonia, beech and yew.

Although much of the estate was sold for housing development in the 1950s, Campsall Country Park remains a popular visitor attraction today.

The once private pleasure gardens of Campsall Hall are now accessible for everyone to enjoy.
