Rights of Way Improvement Plans
The Countryside and Rights of Way Act 2000 introduced a new duty to every Highway Authority to publish a Rights of Way Improvement Plan (ROWIP).
Rights of Way Improvement Plan
The City of Doncaster Council is required under section 60 of the Countryside and Rights of Way Act 2000 to produce and publish a Rights of Way Improvement Plan (ROWIP) and to assess and review it not more than 10 years after publication. This is our second ROWIP. Our aim remains to develop and improve the rights of way network and ensure that our residents’ needs for recreation, exercise and access to local services are met.
