Thank you to all our local businesses who entered the Best Dressed Window competition to celebrate the UCI Road World Championships coming to Doncaster on Friday 27 September 2019.

In 2019, Doncaster Council introduced a Business Best Dressed Window Competition for the Tour De Yorkshire 2019 event that came through the Borough. The competition was seen as a huge success and therefore Doncaster Council delivered a similar competition for the UCI Road World Championships.

The Competition was launched on 15^th July 2019. There were 25x applicants from across the Borough who took part in the competition.

The Judging took place on Tuesday 10^th September 2019 by David Kessen from Doncaster Free Press, Karen Wake from Thorne Times and Lorna Reeve from Business Doncaster.

The Judging Team, would like to thank all of those who participated for taking time and effort to enter. The judges were absolutely blown away, very impressed by all the hard work, creativity and imagination which went in to all the displays. This made the decision making for the judges extremely hard and a challenging process.

Due to the high standard, the Judges agreed not only to pick winners in each category but also to establish a runner up prize for each category.
