Environmental Information Regulations 2004
These regulations deal with requests to the council for specific types of information relating to the environment.
The Environmental Information Regulations 2004 came into force on the 1st January 2005. They come under the umbrella of the Freedom of Information Act 2000.
The types of information which are covered by these regulations are detailed in the attached document together with a brief explanation of the scope of the regulations.

We can levy a charge for providing the information and a schedule of costs can be found below.
Schedule of charges
We have adopted the following method of levying charges:
charge for providing information | for financial year 2020/21 £42.50 per hour or part thereof |
photocopying (per page) | 10p |
provision of information on CD | £20 |
N.B. In the case of information collected from other bodies that charge for the provision of such information, this charge will be passed on to the applicant.
