Level 2 Award in Underage Sales Prevention
This training course offers the nationally accredited qualification ideal for anyone working in a licensed premises or a retail environment selling age-restricted products such as alcohol, knives, aerosols, fireworks, lottery tickets, cigarettes, and tobacco products.
Course Content
Subjects covered include:
- Current minimum age limits for the purchase (and sale) of age-restricted products
- Current legislation and the penalties for the unlawful sale of these products.
- How to refuse a sale and deal with conflict
Duration
The course takes approximately 4 hours to complete, including refreshment breaks and the exam.
It concludes with a 15-question multiple-choice examination. Candidates can have up to 30 minutes to complete the assessment and must achieve a score of at least 10 in order to pass. The test can be conducted orally for anyone who has reading difficulties, provided we are notified at least 2 weeks in advance of the course date.
Qualification
All successful candidates will receive the nationally recognised Level 2 Award in Underage Sales Prevention
