Adult English for Speakers of Other Languages
If English is not you first language and you need to improve your English skills and/or gain a qualification, we have courses to support you.
We have classes at all levels from pre-entry to Level 2. Our courses will help you to develop your speaking, listening, reading and writing skills for daily life, for work or looking for work and for study. You will also have the opportunity to achieve nationally recognised qualifications. |
Our courses
Conversational English
This is the entry point for learners with little or no English skill. Here learners will build their knowledge of vocabulary, allowing them to begin the first steps into speaking English. In class they will work with their peers to practice valuable phrases and improve pronunciation.
Introduction to English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL)
Learners who already have some spoken English can progress to this short course. Here they will learn what level of skill they already process and how to improve to reach the next level. They will improve on fundamental English skills that are useful in everyday life and be able to progress to a qualification.
