Doncaster Safeguarding (Child Protection) policies and procedures
It is essential that all designated safeguarding officers in schools/education establishments follow the Doncaster Safeguarding Children Partnership (DSCP) policy and procedures.
This is online, real time information reviewed on a 72 hour basis to ensure all schools work in accordance with the current policies and procedures. A link to where you can access these procedures is available below:
In addition when considering level of needs the Doncaster Safeguarding Children's Partnership Threshold Process and Procedures - Continuum of Need - Referral and Assessment Pathways requires consideration.
To check your understanding of the access to provision schools need to be aware of the DSCP Pathway to Provision, this is to support practitioners in identifying children, young people and/or family's level of need and to enable the most appropriate referrals to access provisions.
