Youth Hubs are a safe space for children and young people in Doncaster to meet friends, participate in activities and have fun.

Youth Hubs

Doncaster has two purpose built youth centres, one located in the Bentley area and the other in Denaby Main area. Each centre has a wide range of facilities for children and young people to enjoy, learn and thrive in.

Myplace centres were designed to transform services for children and young people by becoming hubs through which young people would be offered access to a wide range of advice and support services. A key feature of Myplace centres is the quality of their facilities, as high quality youth facilities attract more children and young people to provision and encourage them to attend more often.

No two Myplace centres are the same because each centre has been designed to meet the needs of local people. But they are united by a common purpose: each Myplace centre is committed to helping children and young people to become happy, independent, mature citizens and responsible members of their communities.

Specialisms within the Hub

Young people with disabilities are encouraged to access all of our clubs. All of our clubs have disabled access and toilets, with activities and provision that all young people can take part in. We understand, however, that some young people with additional needs prefer to meet together. To enable this, we have a dedicated SEND social group for young people with special educational needs/disabilities.
