Freedom of Information Disclosure Log
The Freedom of Information Act 2000 gives a general right of access to all types of recorded information held by all public authorities, this includes the City of Doncaster Council (the Council). It sets out exemptions from that right and places a number of obligations on the Council.
Since January 2005, any person who makes a request to the Council for information must be informed whether or not that information is held and subject to any exemptions, supplied with that information.
If the requester has expressed a preference to receive the information in electronic form, they must provide it in a re-usable format so far as reasonably practicable.
The City of Doncaster Council receives, on average, 1,500 Freedom of Information requests per year. Before making a request, please check to see if the information is already available below.
