Solihull Approach Foundation training

Training for professionals focusing on improving emotional health and understanding the impact of childhood trauma on children and families.

What does the training cover?

It introduces the Solihull Approach, which emphasises the importance of relationships and addresses adverse childhood experiences. The training is suitable for practitioners working with children and families from various agencies.

  • Resource Packs:
    • First Five Years: Provides handouts for parents on sleeping, weaning, toileting, and development.
    • School Years: Covers brain development, the Solihull Approach for school-aged children, and issues like depression and eating disorders.

The training includes a two-week gap between sessions to facilitate practical application of theory.  The following dates are available for staff to book on the 2 day Solihull Approach Foundation training and are all on Buy Doncaster.
