Spring Term Leadership Network
We are pleased to share with you details of the spring term Leadership Network to take place on Thursday, 13th March 2025 at The Cypress Suite, Legacy Conference Centre, Unit 12, Shaw Wood Way, Doncaster, DN2 5TB.
This Leadership Network will focus on 'Leadership for Educational Excellence: Using creativity and enjoyment to close the attainment gaps'.
Our first keynote speakers will be Sarah Eastaff (Director, Creative Learning at darts), Emma Liversidge-Smith (Core Artist at darts) and Helena Honeybone (Headteacher at Town Field Primary School). Their keynote is called 'Creativity in Our Classrooms with Inspiring Teachers'. Many of you will already know Helena.
We will also be having a number of our schools sharing case studies of good practice in this area.
Leaders in Doncaster will once again have the opportunity to network with others in the system, share best practice and have time to reflect on important leadership issues to come up with common solutions.
The Programme for the Leadership Network is as follows:
8:45 – 9:00 am Registration and refreshments
9:00 – 9:15 am Welcome and opening remarks setting the scene.
9:15 – 10:00 am Keynote - Creativity in Our Classrooms with Inspiring Teachers
10:00-10:30 am Discussion Groups and Feedback
10.30 - 10.50 am Tea/Coffee Break
10:50 – 11:20 am Case study - High standards for all closing the gap vulnerable pupils
11:20 – 11:30 am Questions and summary
11:30 – 11:50 am Case Study - Using storytelling and drama world-building to build curriculum knowledge for all learners
11:50 – 12:00 noon Reflections on the morning and date and time of next Leadership Network
