New or additional box or bags request

What is this for?

To request a new, replacement or additional green box or recycling bags (blue and clear) for the following: If you are about to move into a house that does not have a recycling box or bags, if your box and/or bags have been damaged, lost or stolen and if you regularly have a large amount of material suitable for our kerbside recycling service.

What is it going to cost?

There is no charge for additional, replacement, damaged, lost or stolen boxes and/or bags.

What we need from you

When you are requesting a new, replacement or an additional box and/or bag you will need to provide us with the following information: your name, address, telephone number and the type and number of boxes and bags required. Please note: the property should be occupied, boxes and bags are not delivered to empty properties. All containers remain the property of Doncaster Council.

What you should expect from us

When you submit this form the collection contractor will be informed of the request. New, replacement or additional boxes and/or bags are delivered by the collection operatives on your scheduled collection day and deliveries are to be completed within one week of your request. Sometimes delays of one more than one week could be experienced. Should you have not received a new, replacement or additional box and/or bag you can present your recyclable items in a carrier bag or similar, ensuring it is secure and contained and it is clear that the item has been presented for recycling, materials presented in a Black Sack (bin liner) will not be collected.
