Joint Commissioning Management Board
In April 2018 NHS Doncaster Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) and the Cabinet of Doncaster Council established a Joint Commissioning Management Board. This Board will play a vital role in the identification, development, implementation and oversight of joint commissioning arrangements between the NHS Doncaster CCG and the council that are central to success of the Doncaster Place Plan.
Both the CCG and the council will still need to ensure that decision making takes place according to the relevant governance structures i.e. the CCG Governing Body or for the council according to the scheme of delegation.
In 2018 the Board will focus on the Areas of Opportunity as set out in the Place Plan:
- First 1001 days
- Vulnerable adolescents
- Intermediate Care
- Urgent and Emergency Care
- Learning Disabilities
- Dermatology
- Complex Lives
