Burghwallis Parish Council Neighbourhood Development Plan

Burghwallis Neighbourhood Plan area was designated 2 November 2012. The Burghwallis Plan area covers the whole of the parish of Burghwallis.
Following initial consultation in February 2015 (Regulation 14) a submitted Plan (Regulation 16) and evidence documents was received and consulted on for a period of 6 weeks in September/October 2015.
Nigel Mark McGurk BSC (Hons) MBA MCD MRTPI the appointed Examiner started preliminary assessment of the documentation and in January 2016 recommended that the Neighbhourhood Plan for Burghwallis, subject to a number of modifications, meets the basic conditions and should proceed to Referendum.
Burghwallis Neighbourhood Plan
Following a successful Referendum on 27 October 2016 the Burghwallis Neighbourhood Plan was 'made' by Full Council on the 24 November 2016 when it was adopted as part of Doncaster’s Development Plan.

The Neighbourhood Plan now forms part of the existing statutory Development Plan for Doncaster and shall be used when either applying for planning permission or determining planning applications within the Neighbourhood Plan Area.
